The State Training and Research Centre for Organic Farming (STRCOF) of Majkhali, formerly known as Govt. Soil Conservation & Training Centre was restored in 2006 by UOCB to form and provide adequate training to different user groups interested in Organic farming.

The centre takes a structured and practical approach to promote organic agriculture with the support of a Research & Development Cell and a team of experts well-trained to observe, explore and evaluate organic farming opportunities in the state.

In addition, the centre offers a variety of Training Courses of different durations to benefit the trainees.
